Getting There

Bus

From Faro city center, head to the Faro Bus Station located at Avenida da República. Take the bus heading to Portimão or Lagoa. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Carvoeiro. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Carvoeiro, get off at the main bus stop.
Walking

From the Carvoeiro bus stop, walk towards the beach, which is just a short distance away. Head down to Praia do Carvoeiro beach. Once at the beach, look for the coastal path that leads towards the west. Follow the path along the cliffs, taking in the scenic views. After about 15-20 minutes of walking along the coast, you will see signs for Boneca's Cave. It is a short detour down to the cave entrance.
Bike Rental

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Faro and take the bike path towards Carvoeiro. Follow the signs to the coastal bike routes. Once you arrive in Carvoeiro, head to Praia do Carvoeiro beach and follow the same coastal path as mentioned above to reach Boneca's Cave.
