Getting There

  • Bus

    From Faro city center, head to the Faro Bus Station located at Avenida da República. Take the bus line 103 towards Lagoa, which operates regularly throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Carvoeiro, and from the bus stop, follow the signs towards the beach. Algar Seco Parque is a short 10-minute walk downhill from the bus stop.

  • Train and Bus

    Start at Faro Train Station and take a train towards Lagos. Once you arrive at Lagoa Train Station, exit the station and catch the bus line 104 towards Carvoeiro. This bus ride will take around 15 minutes. After you arrive in Carvoeiro, follow the signs to the beach area where Algar Seco Parque is located, which is about a 15-minute stroll along the coastal paths.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Carvoeiro, find your way to the main square (Praça da República). From there, head towards the coast and follow the path that leads you towards the Algar Seco area. The path is clearly marked, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the cliffs and the ocean. It should take around 20 minutes to walk from the main square to the entrance of Algar Seco Parque.
