Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Portimão, head southeast on Avenida 25 de Abril toward Rua da Liberdade. Continue onto N125-4, following signs for Ferragudo. After approximately 5 km, take the exit toward Ferragudo. Follow the signs to Ferragudo village. Once in Ferragudo, navigate to R. Dr. Luiz António dos Santos. There is limited parking available near the village, so be prepared to walk a short distance.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Portimão, go to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Portimão). Look for the bus service to Ferragudo, typically operated by VAMUS. Purchase your ticket at the counter or on the bus (cost is approximately €2-3). The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Ferragudo, walk towards R. Dr. Luiz António dos Santos to reach the Old Village.

• Taxi

  You can take a taxi from anywhere in Portimão directly to Ferragudo. Simply hail a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare will be approximately €10-15.

• Walking from the Bus Stop

  If you arrive by bus, get off at the Ferragudo bus stop. From there, head northeast on Rua da Liberdade, and then take a right onto R. Dr. Luiz António dos Santos. The Old Village of Ferragudo is a short walk from the bus stop, taking about 10 minutes.
