If you are starting from the Faro train station, exit the station and head southeast on Rua da Misericórdia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida da República. Turn right onto Avenida da República and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Praça da Liberdade. From Praça da Liberdade, head southwest toward Rua de Portugal. Continue along Rua de Portugal until you reach the intersection with Rua de Lethes. Turn left onto Rua de Lethes, and after about 150 meters, you will find the Obelisco A Ferreira D'Almeida on your right, located in the square.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take the bus, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Praça da Liberdade. Check the bus schedule for routes that head toward Sé or the city center. Take any bus that stops at Sé, and get off at the stop closest to the Sé Cathedral. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the obelisk, which is located in the square adjacent to the cathedral, just a few minutes away.

If you are in the city center, make your way to Praça da Liberdade. From there, head southwest on Rua de Portugal. After approximately 200 meters, you will reach Rua de Lethes. Turn left and walk along Rua de Lethes for about 150 meters. The Obelisco A Ferreira D'Almeida will be on your right, located near the Sé Cathedral.
