Public Transport - Bus
From Faro city center, walk to the main bus station located on Avenida da República. Catch the bus number 1 or 10 towards Lagoa. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa, get off at the Lagoa bus terminal. From there, take bus number 104 towards Carvoeiro. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Praia do Vale de Centeanes'. From the bus stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk down the pathway leading to the beach.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Faro to Praia do Vale de Centeanes. Simply find a taxi at one of the designated taxi ranks in the city center or call a local taxi service. The journey will take around 30-35 minutes, depending on traffic, and will take you directly to the beach entrance.
Walking from Carvoeiro
If you are already in Carvoeiro, head towards the coastline from the town center. Walk along the path that leads you westward along the cliffs. Follow the signs towards Praia do Vale de Centeanes, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way to the beach.
