Quinta dos Sentidos: A Vineyard Escape in Silves

Getting There

• Bus

  From Faro, head to the bus station located at Avenida da República. Look for the bus services to Silves. Buses to Silves run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Silves bus station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenida da Liberdade toward Rua 1 de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Escola. Turn left onto Rua da Escola and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Estrada do Arco. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Quinta dos Sentidos located on the right.

• Train and Bus

  From Faro, you can take a train from Faro Train Station to Silves. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Silves train station, exit and walk towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Take a local bus heading to Silves city center. Once you reach the center, follow the directions provided above: head southwest on Avenida da Liberdade toward Rua 1 de Maio, then turn left onto Rua da Escola, continue to the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Estrada do Arco. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Quinta dos Sentidos on the right.

• Walking

  If you are near Silves, you can walk to Quinta dos Sentidos. Starting from the Silves Castle, head southeast on Rua do Castelo and turn right onto Rua 1 de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Estrada do Arco. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you see Quinta dos Sentidos on the right side.
