Bus
From Faro city center, head to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Faro) located at Av. da República. Look for the bus to Albufeira, which typically takes about 45 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they can vary. Once you arrive at the Albufeira bus station, exit and head toward the main road (Av. dos Descobrimentos). From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to R. do Município ES, which is approximately a 20-minute walk straight ahead.
Train and Bus
Start at Faro train station (Estação Ferroviária de Faro). Take a train towards Albufeira. Once you arrive at Albufeira train station, exit the station and head to the bus stop just outside. Board a local bus heading to Albufeira city center. When you get off, head towards R. do Município ES. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Faro directly to Albufeira City Hall. Just tell the driver to take you to R. do Município ES, 8201-863 Albufeira. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you find yourself in Faro and wish to walk to Albufeira, it is quite a distance (approximately 30 kilometers) and not recommended. However, if you are feeling adventurous, you can follow the coastal path from Faro towards Albufeira. This will take several hours and may require proper walking gear and water.
