Getting There
Walk
If you are starting from the Guimarães city center, head south on Rua de São Francisco towards Praça de S. Tiago. Continue straight until you reach the Largo da Oliveira. From there, take a right onto Rua do Arco da Lapa, which will lead you to the main square. Keep walking straight until you reach the Avenida de São Gonçalo. From there, walk straight for about 15 minutes until you come to a small bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Continue straight, and you will eventually arrive at Av. de Diogo Leite. Caves Cálem will be located at number 344 on your right.

From the Guimarães bus station, take the bus that heads to Porto. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Vila Nova de Gaia. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Vila Nova de Gaia, exit the bus and walk towards the river. Follow the riverbank until you see the Av. de Diogo Leite sign. Walk along this avenue for about 10 minutes, and you will find Caves Cálem at number 344.
