From the center of Guimarães, head towards the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães). Walk straight along Av. de Dom Afonso Henriques until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Av. da Liberdade. Continue walking straight until you reach the historical center. Follow the signs to the bus station, as it is a well-known landmark. Once you reach the bus station, you can catch a bus to Porto. The buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour.

After arriving at the Guimarães train station, go to the nearby bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães). Look for the bus service to Porto, which should be marked with clear signs. Purchase a ticket at the kiosk or from the driver. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Porto. The bus will drop you off at Campo 24 de Agosto in Porto.
