    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Guimarães, head towards the Guimarães train station, which is located at Av. da Estação. Once you arrive at the station, take the train towards Porto São Bento. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. After arriving at the Porto São Bento station, exit the station and walk towards the nearby São Bento Metro Station. Take the Metro Line D (the Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. Ride the Metro for about 15 minutes and get off at the Jardim do Morro station. From there, follow the signs to the Gaia Riverfront and walk down the stairs towards the river. Continue walking along the riverbank until you reach R. da Praia. The Marina da Afurada will be on your left at R. da Praia 430.

    Public Transport

    Start at the Guimarães bus station located at Av. Dom João IV. Take the bus number 21 towards Porto. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Disembark at the stop called 'Cais de Gaia.' From the bus stop, walk south towards the riverfront. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverside promenade. Continue straight until you reach R. da Praia. The Marina da Afurada is located at R. da Praia 430, which will be on your left.
