Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Guimarães, head towards the Praça de São Tiago. From there, take the Rua de São Paulo heading east until you reach the Avenida de Dom João IV. Turn right onto Avenida de Dom João IV and continue straight for about 1.5 km. You will eventually reach the intersection with Rua de Cândido dos Reis. Cross the intersection and continue straight, where the road becomes Praça do Bom Sucesso. The Mercado Bom Sucesso will be on your left at number 74-90.
Bus
From the Guimarães bus station, take the bus number 8 towards Porto. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. When you arrive at the Porto bus station (Campo 24 de Agosto), exit the bus and head to the nearest metro station called 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take the metro line A (blue line) in the direction of 'Senhor de Matosinhos'. Get off at the 'Marquês' station. From there, you can walk to Praça do Bom Sucesso by heading southwest on Rua de Antero de Quental. Continue straight as the road merges into Praça do Bom Sucesso, where the Mercado Bom Sucesso is located.

To get to Mercado Bom Sucesso from Guimarães, first, walk to the Guimarães metro station. Take the metro towards 'Porto' and switch at 'Trindade' station to the yellow line (line D) towards 'Hospital de São João'. Get off at 'Marquês' station. Exit the station and walk southwest on Rua de Antero de Quental. Continue straight to reach Praça do Bom Sucesso. The market is located at number 74-90.
