From the center of Guimarães, start at the Praça da Oliveira and head towards the Rua de Santo António. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Avenida Dom João IV. Turn left and follow this avenue until you come to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães). Here, you can catch a bus to Amarante. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
