Walking
From the center of Guimarães, head towards Avenida de Dom João IV. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Paulo. Turn left onto Rua de São Paulo and continue walking until you reach the main square, Praça de São Tiago. From the square, follow Rua de São Tiago until you reach the intersection with Rua de Santa Maria. Turn right onto Rua de Santa Maria. Continue straight until you reach the next intersection, then turn left onto Rua de São Gonçalo. Walk straight until you see a bus stop on your right. Once you reach the bus stop, take Bus 204 towards Porto. Alight at the 'Ponte das Barcas' stop in Porto. From there, walk towards Passeio das Virtudes, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Follow the signs towards Jardim das Virtudes or use a map application for guidance.

Public Transport
From Guimarães bus station, take the intercity bus (Bus 204) towards Porto. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the 'Campo 24 de Agosto' bus station in Porto, exit and head towards the metro station. Take the metro Line D (yellow line) in the direction of 'Hospital de São João'. Alight at the 'São Bento' station. From São Bento, exit the metro and head towards the main avenue, Avenida dos Aliados. Walk straight down the avenue until you reach the riverfront. Follow the river along Cais de Ribeira and look for signs directing you to Passeio das Virtudes, which is about a 15-minute walk from the river.
