Walking
Start at Guimarães city center, near the Guimarães Castle. Head southwest on R. de São Bento towards R. de Nossa Senhora da Oliveira. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Av. de Dom João IV. Walk along this street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto R. de S. Gonçalo. Follow this road as it curves and becomes R. da Bouça. Continue straight for about 3.5 kilometers until you arrive at Praia da Lomba, located on your left.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Guimarães bus station, take the bus that is headed to Lomba (check local schedules as times may vary). Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the 'Praia da Lomba' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance along R. da Bouça, and you will find Praia da Lomba on your left.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Guimarães city center and head southwest on R. de São Bento. Follow the same route as the walking directions but take the bike lane along Av. de Dom João IV. Continue biking until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto R. de S. Gonçalo. Keep cycling straight until you reach R. da Bouça. Praia da Lomba will be on your left after approximately 3.5 kilometers.
