Once you arrive in Magueija, continue straight until you see signs for Baloiço do Picoto. The viewpoint is located on a hilltop, so be prepared for a short uphill walk to reach the site.

From Lamego, walk to the nearest bus station located on Avenida Doutor Alfredo de Sousa. Look for the bus heading towards Magueija; it usually departs every hour. Once you board, you will travel for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Magueija stop. From there, head towards the village center, and look for signs directing you to Baloiço do Picoto. The viewpoint is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the village center, so wear comfortable shoes.
