From the center of Lamego, head southeast on Avenida da República towards Rua de Cima. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade and walk for about 600 meters, passing by local shops and cafes. Keep going until you see a sign for the N-222 road. Turn left onto the N-222 and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Alvarenga. Once you arrive in Alvarenga, look for the entrance to the Arouca 516 bridge, which will be on your right.
