Walking
From the center of Lamego, head south on Rua de Av. 1 de Maio towards Rua da Cruz. Continue straight until you reach Praça de Camões, where you will find the Lamego Cathedral nearby. From the Cathedral, take Rua do Comércio and follow it as it becomes Estrada Nacional 225 (EN225). Keep walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach a sign for Passadiços do Paiva. Follow the signs until you arrive at the trailhead located on Estr. do Areinho.

Start at the main bus station in Lamego, which is located near the city center. Look for the bus line that goes towards Arouca or the Paiva River area. Confirm with the bus driver that the bus goes to Estr. do Areinho or to a nearby stop. Enjoy the scenic ride for about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to Passadiços do Paiva Trailhead, which is a short walk away from the bus stop.
