Walking
Start at the center of Lamego, specifically at the iconic Lamego Cathedral (Sé de Lamego). From the Cathedral, head north on Rua do Comércio, and continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida da Liberdade. Turn right onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N-226 towards Mesão Frio. After approximately 1 km, look for a sign indicating Miradouro de São Silvestre. Follow the signs and continue along the pathway, which will lead you up a gentle incline to the viewpoint. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding area and takes about 30-40 minutes.

From the center of Lamego, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Praça da República. Catch the local bus heading towards Mesão Frio. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Miradouro de São Silvestre, disembark and follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the viewpoint, which is a short walk uphill from the bus stop.
