Walking
If you're starting from the center of Lamego, head northeast on Avenida Doutor Alfredo de Sousa towards Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Rua da Cruz. Follow this road as it curves and becomes Rua da Lameira. After about 1 kilometer, you'll reach the fork; take the left path towards Barcos. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers. You'll see signs for Quinta do Monte Travesso. Once you reach the entrance, it's a short walk to the main building.
Taxi
From any point in Lamego, simply hail a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. Tell the driver to take you to 'Quinta do Monte Travesso, Barcos'. The journey is about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the vineyard.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Lamego and head towards Avenida Doutor Alfredo de Sousa. Follow the same route as mentioned for walking. The bike ride will take you approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Barcos and Quinta do Monte Travesso as you make your way along the route.
