Getting There

  • Metro

    From central Lisbon, head to the nearest metro station, such as Baixa-Chiado or Cais do Sodré. Take the green line towards Cais do Sodré. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station, exit the metro and follow the signs to the train station. Board the train heading to Cascais. After a short ride, disembark at the Alcântara-Terra station.

  • Walking

    From the Alcântara-Terra train station, exit and turn left onto Rua da Cintura do Porto de Lisboa. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters, and you will arrive at Doca de Alcântara, located right by the waterfront.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from central Lisbon, you can take bus number 727 from Praça do Comércio. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Alcântara-Mar' stop. From there, it’s a short walk down to Doca de Alcântara, which is located along the waterfront.

  • Tram

    You can also take tram number 28 from the city center. Ride the tram until you reach the 'Alfama' area. From there, switch to tram number 15E at the 'Praça da Figueira' stop, which will take you directly towards Alcântara. Get off at the 'Doca de Alcântara' stop, and you will find yourself right at the entrance.
