Train
From central Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can take the metro by taking the Green Line and getting off at Cais do Sodré station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the Cascais line. Board the train heading towards Cascais, and enjoy the scenic ride along the coast. After about 20 minutes, get off at Carcavelos station. From the station, exit and walk straight down Rua da Estação until you reach Av. Marginal. Turn left, and you will see Praia de Carcavelos ahead on your right.

From the Praça do Comércio, walk to the bus stop 'Praça do Comércio' located nearby. Take the bus number 202 towards 'Cascais' or 405 towards 'Carcavelos'. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Carcavelos' stop. From there, walk towards the beach along Av. Marginal. Praia de Carcavelos will be visible ahead on your right.

Tram
Catch the tram 28 from Praça Martim Moniz. Ride the tram until you reach the stop 'Cais do Sodré'. From there, transfer to the train line to Cascais as described earlier. Board the train, and disembark at Carcavelos station. Walk straight down Rua da Estação, turn left onto Av. Marginal, and you will find Praia de Carcavelos.

If you are in Carcavelos already, simply walk towards the beach. From any point in the town, navigate towards Av. Marginal, which runs parallel to the beach. Follow the signs for Praia de Carcavelos, and you will arrive at the beach in just a few minutes.
