If you are in the center of Belém, you can easily reach Belém Tower by walking. Start at the Jerónimos Monastery, which is a prominent landmark in the area. From the monastery, head south towards the river. You will see a large open space known as the Praça do Império. Walk towards the riverfront along Avenida de Brasília.
