Merge onto ER103 and follow the signs for Queimadas. After approximately 12 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of Parque Florestal das Queimadas. There is parking available at the park entrance, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Funchal. Look for the bus company 'SAM' that operates routes to Santana. Take the bus number 56 from Funchal to Santana, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Santana, you will need to take a taxi or walk approximately 5 kilometers to the park entrance. Taxis are available in Santana, and the fare should be around €10-€15. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary, especially on weekends.
