Car
If you're driving, start from the city of Braga. Head northwest on the A11 motorway, which connects Braga to the Minho region. Continue on the A11 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the exit for the N201 road toward Amares. Take the exit and merge onto N201. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto the N103 toward Jesufrei. Follow the N103 for about 8 kilometers, and you will see signs for Castro do Monte das Ermidas. Look for a small parking area nearby.
Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a train from Braga to the city of Amares. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Upon arriving at Amares station, look for the local bus service that connects to Jesufrei. The bus can take about 30 minutes to reach Jesufrei. Once you arrive in Jesufrei, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Castro do Monte das Ermidas. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may not be very frequent.
