From the center of Guimarães, head south on Avenida da Liberdade towards Rua da Praça de S. Tiago. Continue straight onto Rua de Santa Maria, passing the Igreja de São Miguel do Castelo on your left. Continue straight until you reach the bus terminal, where you can catch a bus to Porto. Take the bus to Porto Campanhã station.
