Car
If you're traveling by car within Minho, start by navigating towards the town of Esposende. From Esposende, head northeast on the N13 road. After approximately 9 km, take the exit toward Azurara. Continue straight until you reach the town center of Azurara. Follow the signs towards the beach area where the Farol de Azurara (Azurara Lighthouse) is located. Parking is available near the lighthouse, but be aware that some lots may charge a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Farol de Azurara by public transportation, take a train from Braga or Porto to the Esposende station. Once you arrive at Esposende, you can either walk (approximately 3 km) or take a local bus to Azurara. If you opt for the bus, you can check local schedules for the best route. Once in Azurara, follow the signs to the beach area where the lighthouse is located. Note that local buses may have a small fare.
Walking
If you are already in Azurara, you can walk to the Farol de Azurara. Simply head towards the coastline from the town center. The lighthouse is located along the beach, and the walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
