    From the historic center of Guimarães, head south towards Rua de São Paulo. Continue straight until you reach the Praça de Santiago. Here, turn left onto Rua de Oliveira. Proceed along this street until you reach the junction with Avenida Dom João IV. Turn right and follow this avenue until you reach the Guimarães train station. From the station, you can take a train to Porto. Once in Porto, exit the train and navigate towards the metro station. Take the metro line D (the blue line) towards the station 'Casa da Música'. Alight at the 'Casa da Música' stop, and then transfer to line A (the yellow line) towards 'Senhor de Matosinhos'. Get off at 'São Bento' station. From São Bento, walk towards the Ribeira area, and head to R. do Passeio Alegre, which is located along the riverbank.
