From the Guimarães bus station, take the bus heading towards Porto. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Porto bus station, exit the station and walk towards the metro station named 'Campo 24 de Agosto'. Take the metro line D (the Yellow line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After 5 stops, get off at 'São Bento' station. Exit the station, and you will find yourself in the historic center of Porto. Walk towards R. de Cândido dos Reis, which is about a 10-minute walk from São Bento station.

From Guimarães train station, board a train to Porto. The journey takes about 1 hour. When you arrive at Porto São Bento station, exit and head towards the main square, Praça de Almeida Garrett. From there, walk towards R. de Cândido dos Reis; it is approximately a 10-minute walk. You will walk past the beautiful Avenida dos Aliados, and R. de Cândido dos Reis will be on your right.

If you are already in Guimarães town center, you can walk to the train station (Estação de Guimarães) and take a train to Porto. Alternatively, if you are near the Guimarães Castle, head towards the main square and follow the signs for the train station. Once you are in Porto, follow the instructions for the bus or train options to reach R. de Cândido dos Reis.

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Guimarães directly to Porto. The journey will take about 50 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to take you to R. de Cândido dos Reis 105 in Porto.
