Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Guimarães, start at Praça da Oliveira. Head east on Rua de Santa Maria until you reach the intersection with Rua do Lameiro. Turn right onto Rua do Lameiro and continue straight until you reach Praça do Toural. From there, take the first left onto Rua de São Paulo and walk straight until you reach the train station, Estação de Guimarães. Once at the station, take the train towards Porto. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Porto São Bento station. Exit the station and walk to the nearest metro station, São Bento. Take the metro Line D (yellow line) towards Hospital de São João and get off at the stop for Campo 24 de Agosto. From there, exit the station and head southwest on Rua de Agramonte. The Cemitério de Agramonte will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From the center of Guimarães, make your way to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário. Take the bus heading towards Porto (make sure to check the schedule for the correct bus number). The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Porto, walk to the nearest metro station, Campo 24 de Agosto. Board the metro on Line D (yellow line) towards Hospital de São João and get off at the stop for Campo 24 de Agosto. Exit the station and walk southwest on Rua de Agramonte until you reach Cemitério de Agramonte.

  • Metro

    From the center of Guimarães, walk to the train station, Estação de Guimarães. Take the train towards Porto. After around 30 minutes, you will arrive at Porto São Bento station. After exiting the station, walk to the nearest metro station, São Bento. Board the Line D (yellow line) towards Hospital de São João. Get off at the Campo 24 de Agosto stop. From the metro station, head southwest on Rua de Agramonte, and you will find Cemitério de Agramonte on your right.
