From the center of Ponte de Lima, head towards the Main Square (Praça da República). Once you reach the square, locate the bridge (Ponte de Lima) and cross it. After crossing, follow the road straight until you see signs for A Guarda. Continue along this road for about 3 kilometers. You will come to a fork; take the left path that leads uphill towards Monte de Santa Trega. Follow the well-marked paths, and you will reach the summit where Monte de Santa Trega is located, offering stunning views.

If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Ponte de Lima and head towards the river. Follow the bike paths along the riverbanks until you reach the bridge (Ponte de Lima). Cross the bridge and immediately turn left onto the road towards A Guarda. Continue cycling for about 3 kilometers.
