Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main square in Nazaré (Praça dos Gama). Head south on Rua do Município towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida da República. Follow this road until you see signs for 'Marca da pata do cavalo'. There is a small parking area near the viewpoint. The drive should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start at the Nazaré bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Nazaré). Take bus number 117 towards Alcobaça, which runs regularly. Get off at the stop 'Praia do Norte'. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to 'Marca da pata do cavalo'. Follow the coastal path from the beach up to the viewpoint, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the ocean and Nazaré.
Walking
If you're already in Nazaré and prefer to walk, start at the beach (Praia da Nazaré). Head north along the beach promenade until you reach the rocky cliffs.
