If you're driving in Peniche, start by heading towards the town center. From the main square (Praça da República), take the exit onto Rua Luís de Camões. Follow this street until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida do Mar. Continue straight until you reach the coastal area, and then follow the signs to Praia de Alfarrobo. After parking at the beach parking area, walk towards the coastline. The Formação rochosa flutuante is located along the cliffs, approximately a 10-minute walk to the northwest.

From the Peniche bus station, take Bus Line 1 towards Praia do Baleal. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop 'Praia de Alfarrobo.' After disembarking, walk towards the beach area and follow the coastal path heading northwest. The Formação rochosa flutuante is about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Please check the local bus schedule as services may vary, and a ticket will cost around €2.

If you are already in the vicinity of Praia de Alfarrobo, simply walk towards the coast from the beach entrance. Head northwest along the shoreline, keeping the cliffs on your right. The Formação rochosa flutuante should be visible along the cliffs after about a 10-minute walk. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the path can be rocky.
