Starting from the Ponte de Lima town center, head east on Rua do Comércio towards the bridge. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Lima River. Cross the bridge and once you are on the other side, follow the path that leads to the right along the riverbank. Continue walking along this path until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, you will see signs directing you to the bus stop. Take a local bus heading towards Viana do Castelo, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Viana do Castelo, disembark at the main bus station. From the bus station, walk towards Rua da Bandeira, then turn left onto Avenida de Cabo Verde. Continue straight for a few blocks until you reach Largo do Instituto Histórico do Minho, where Casa dos Velhos is located.

From Ponte de Lima, go to the main bus station located near the town center. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Viana do Castelo. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Viana do Castelo bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de Cabo Verde. Walk straight until you reach Largo do Instituto Histórico do Minho. Casa dos Velhos will be on your right side.
