Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, make your way to the main square, Praça da República. Head towards Rua do Comércio and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Alegria. Turn right onto Rua da Alegria. Follow this road, which will turn into Rua de São João. Continue walking until you reach the bus station, Estação Rodoviária de Ponte de Lima. From here, you can take a bus to Castro Laboreiro. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Castro Laboreiro, the Castelo de Castro Laboreiro is a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on EM1160, and the castle will be visible ahead.
Public Transport
Start at the main square in Ponte de Lima, Praça da República. Walk to the nearby bus station, Estação Rodoviária de Ponte de Lima. Check the bus schedules for a route to Castro Laboreiro. Purchase your ticket and board the bus. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Castro Laboreiro, exit the bus and walk east along EM1160. The Castelo de Castro Laboreiro is located a short distance away, and you should see signs directing you towards the castle.
