Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Ponte de Lima, head southeast on Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra towards Rua do Comércio. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Igreja. Follow this road as it curves to the left and becomes Rua de São João. After approximately 600 meters, you will see signs for the Ecovia do Rio Lima. Continue straight for another 400 meters, and you will arrive at the entrance to Ecovia do Rio Lima located on Ecovia dos Açudes. Enjoy the scenic views along the river!

• Bicycle

  If you have a bicycle, start at Praça da República in the heart of Ponte de Lima. Pedal northeast on Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, and then take a right onto Rua da Igreja. Follow this road straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rua de São João, and continue for another 600 meters. You will notice signs guiding you to Ecovia do Rio Lima. The entrance is located on Ecovia dos Açudes after a short ride of about 1 kilometer from the roundabout.

• Public Transport

  From the Ponte de Lima bus station, take the local bus heading towards the town center. Get off at the stop at Praça da República. From there, walk southeast on Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, following the same directions as walking. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the entrance to Ecovia do Rio Lima on Ecovia dos Açudes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips if you plan to use public transport.
