From the center of Ponte de Lima, head south on Av. dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra toward R. da Cruz. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the Praça da República. At the praça, take the street to your right, R. do Comércio, and walk for about 200 meters until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Ponte de Lima).

Once you arrive in Valença, walk towards the main entrance of the fortress, which is visible from the bus stop. Head southeast on Av. da Liberdade, then take a left onto R. da Fonte da Vila. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters until you reach the Fortaleza de Valença: Revelim da Fonte da Vila.
