Walking
Start at the Ponte de Lima town center, near the iconic Ponte Romana (Roman Bridge). Head northeast on Rua do Raúl Brandão. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Walk along this avenue for about 1 km until you see a sign for 'Miradouro da Fortaleza' on your left. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which will lead you up a small hill. The viewpoint is approximately 300 meters from the main road, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the Lima River.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ponte de Lima. Start at the town center and head towards the Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Cycle along this avenue for about 1 km. Keep an eye out for the sign for 'Miradouro da Fortaleza' on your left. Take the indicated path which will lead you uphill. The viewpoint is around 300 meters from the main road, and it's a pleasant ride with beautiful scenery along the way.

While there's no direct public transport to Miradouro da Fortaleza, you can take a bus from Ponte de Lima to Valença. Check the local bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Valença, the viewpoint is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Exit the bus station and head towards the center of Valença, following signs for 'Miradouro da Fortaleza'. The path will lead you uphill, and it’s approximately 1 km from the bus station.
