Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, begin at the iconic Ponte Romano (Roman Bridge). Head east along the riverbank, following the path that runs parallel to the Lima River. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the path. At the fork, take the left path that leads you through a scenic area with views of the river. After another 500 meters, you will see a sign for 'Foz do Rio Trovela'. Turn left at the sign and follow the road for about 300 meters until you reach R. do Topo. Foz do Rio Trovela will be located on your right at R. do Topo 68.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Ponte de Lima, take bus line 301 towards Viana do Castelo. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for R. do Topo. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you get off at R. do Topo, walk about 200 meters down the road to find Foz do Rio Trovela located at R. do Topo 68.
Bicycling
Start at the central park in Ponte de Lima, known as Parque do Arnado. Rent a bicycle from a nearby rental service and head east along the designated bike paths that parallel the Lima River. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the path. Take the left fork and proceed for another 500 meters. You'll encounter a sign for 'Foz do Rio Trovela'; take a left and follow the road for about 300 meters. Foz do Rio Trovela will be on your right at R. do Topo 68.
