Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Ponte de Lima, head towards the iconic Ponte de Lima Bridge. Walk across the bridge over the Lima River, taking in the beautiful views. Once you reach the other side, continue straight along Rua do Comércio until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua 1º de Maio. Keep walking straight until you see a park area on your left. Largo da Lapa will be located within this park area, just a short walk further along.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus station in Ponte de Lima, board any bus heading towards the city center. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Largo da Lapa. The bus will take you through the main streets of the town. Once you disembark, follow the signs pointing to the park. Largo da Lapa will be directly accessible from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start from the central square, and head towards the Lima River. Follow the riverside path, enjoying the scenery as you ride. Continue along the bike path, and take a left at the park entrance that leads to Largo da Lapa. The park is bicycle-friendly, so you can easily park your bike there.
