Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head south on Rua da Liberdade towards the river. Cross the historic Ponte Romana bridge. Once across the bridge, turn left onto the path along the river. Follow the riverside path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the path. At the fork, keep right. After another 500 meters, you will see signs directing you to Parque do Peso. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Melgaço Spa, located at Parque do Peso.
Bus
From the main bus station in Ponte de Lima, take the bus heading towards Melgaço. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Parque do Peso. Once you get off the bus, you will see the entrance to Melgaço Spa directly ahead.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Ponte de Lima. Head towards the river and follow the riverside path. Follow the same route as walking, approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs to Parque do Peso. The bike ride will be scenic and enjoyable, and you will reach Melgaço Spa in about 10 minutes.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in the center of Ponte de Lima. Tell the driver you want to go to Melgaço Spa at Parque do Peso. The drive will take around 15-20 minutes, and it is a convenient option if you prefer not to walk or cycle.
