If you are starting from the center of Ponte de Lima, head north on Avenida dos Descobrimentos towards Rua do Cais. Continue straight and turn right onto Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rua de 1º de Maio. Continue on this road until you see the sign for Giela. The Paço de Giela is located a short walk from the main road.

From the main square in Ponte de Lima, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Head towards the north end of the town on Avenida dos Descobrimentos. Follow the path along the river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path that leads to Giela. There will be signs directing you towards Paço de Giela as you approach.
