Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, head northeast on R. da Liberdade towards R. dos Cais. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto R. do Campo. Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout, where you will take the first exit onto R. 1º de Maio. Follow this road until you reach the bus station (Estação de Autobuses). From there, catch a regional bus that goes towards Melgaço. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Melgaço, get off at the stop closest to R. Direita, and walk about 5 minutes to reach Solar do Alvarinho, located at R. Direita 86.
