Augostinho was our tour guide (family with 2 children aged 5 and 7). He is a very likable and service-oriented person. Our hikes with two donkeys through the beautiful landscape were problem-free after we had taught the donkeys that they could not constantly pause and eat. Augostinho had made the route available to us on the "Ride with GPS" app, which made it very easy for us to locate ourselves at any time. For our 3-day stay, we had booked the spacious apartment with a large garden from him; a daily breakfast basket filled with delicious local products included - a very successful stay!

Unforgettable experience😍🤯

The absolute highlight of my week was motorbiking through the stunning Portuguese mountain trails, surrounded by forests and nature. It was honestly one of the most peaceful and surreal experiences of my life. Every day felt like a new adventure: winding through remote paths, taking in epic ocean views, and sharing the road with beautiful animals. The motorbike team made it all even better — such a kind, laid-back group of people with so much patience (which I definitely needed). Their warmth and easygoing nature made the whole experience unforgettable. Thank you guys!!! The bikes themselves were incredible too — 300cc two-stroke dirt bikes, brand new with only around 600km on them. They felt amazing to ride: powerful, responsive, and perfect for off-road. One of my favorite memories was a rainy day when we stopped at a local portuguese restaurant. We’d just been swimming at the waterfall and we were still wet, but then came the warm green soup, sizzling meat, and crispy chicken wings — absolute heaven. Thank you so much Paulo & Team for an incredible time. We will definitely come back (and race you in karting again😉).
