To reach Bom Jesus do Monte from Porto, head to the Campo 24 de Agosto bus terminal. Take the bus number 203 towards 'Bom Jesus' or 'Sameiro'. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the stops, and get off at the 'Bom Jesus' stop. From there, you will see signs leading to the entrance of the sanctuary.
Metro and Funicular
Start at the Trindade Metro Station in Porto, and take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards 'Senhor de Matosinhos'. Transfer at the São Bento Station and switch to Metro Line C (Green Line) towards 'Estádio do Dragão'. Get off at 'Parque da Cidade' and walk to the nearby funicular station. Take the funicular up to Bom Jesus do Monte. The funicular ride offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

Keep in mind this will be a long walk, approximately 1.5 hours, but it will take you through beautiful landscapes.
