Getting There

  • Metro

    From São Bento Metro Station, take the Line D (yellow line) towards Santo Ovídio. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Jardim do Morro.' After exiting the metro, head towards the stairs that lead down to the river. Once you reach the riverfront, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge on the upper level, enjoying the view of the Douro River. After crossing, you will be in Vila Nova de Gaia. Continue straight along the Avenida de Ramos Pinto until you reach Caves Ferreira, located at Av. de Ramos Pinto 70.

    From the Porto city center, catch bus number 500 from the stop at 'Aliados' or 'São Bento.' The bus will take you directly to 'Caves Ferreira' with a journey time of approximately 20 minutes. You will want to get off at the stop called 'Caves Ferreira.' The winery is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Av. de Ramos Pinto 70.

    If you are staying in the Ribeira district, you can walk to Caves Ferreira. Start at the Ribeira waterfront and head towards the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge and, once over, take the stairs down towards the lower level. Once you are on the lower level, turn right, and follow the Avenida de Ramos Pinto. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Caves Ferreira at Av. de Ramos Pinto 70.
