Getting There

  • Metro

    If you're starting from the center of Porto, make your way to the 'São Bento' metro station. Take the Line D (Yellow Line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. Get off at 'Jardim do Morro' station. From there, walk towards the river and cross the Dom Luís I Bridge. Once across the bridge, follow the signs to Largo Aviz. The Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From the 'Campo 24 de Agosto' bus terminal in Porto, take bus number 901 towards 'Cais de Gaia'. After about a 10-minute ride, get off at the 'Jardim do Morro' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the Dom Luís I Bridge and cross it. After crossing, follow the signs to Largo Aviz where the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar is located.

    If you're near the 'Infante' tram stop, take the historic tram line number 1 towards 'Hospital de São João'. Get off at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop.
