If you are in the historic center of Porto, start at the famous São Bento Railway Station, which is easily accessible by foot. From São Bento, head south towards the Avenida dos Aliados. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de Camões. Turn left onto Rua de Camões and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will see a set of steps leading up to the Jardim das Virtudes. Follow these steps up, and you will arrive at Passeio das Virtudes, a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Douro River.

If you are further away, take the Porto Metro Line D (the yellow line) towards Santo Ovídio. Get off at the 'São Bento' station. From the station, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Passeio das Virtudes.
