Metro
Start your journey at São Bento Metro Station in the city center of Porto. Take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Matosinhos Sul station. Once you exit the station, head towards the coastline.
Walking
From Matosinhos Sul station, walk towards the seafront promenade. Follow the promenade north along the coast, enjoying the views of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Farol do Pontão, which will be visible as you approach the lighthouse.
Bus
Instead of walking from Matosinhos Sul, you can also take bus number 504 from Matosinhos Sul bus stop towards 'Praia de Matosinhos'. Get off at the 'Farol de Leça' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk along the coast to reach Farol do Pontão.
