From the center of Serra da Estrela, head southeast on N339 towards Covão dos Conchos. Continue on N339 for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to 'Lagoa da' or 'Covão dos Conchos'. After about 5 kilometers on this road, you will reach a parking area near the Lagoa da. Park your car here, and from the parking lot, follow the marked walking trail towards Covão dos Conchos, which is a short 15-20 minute hike.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Covilhã to Manteigas. Once in Manteigas, you can catch a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle service that can take you closer to Lagoa da. Inform the driver you want to visit Covão dos Conchos. The taxi ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa da, follow the marked trail for a 15-20 minute hike to reach Covão dos Conchos.
