From Covilhã, head northeast on the N18 towards the village of Cortes do Meio, which is approximately 15 km away. Continue on the N18 until you reach the intersection with the N339. Turn left onto the N339 and follow the signs for Vila Belo Horizonte (ruínas). After about 3 km, you will see a sign for Vila Belo Horizonte. Follow the dirt road leading to the ruins, and be prepared for some rough terrain as you approach the site.

Take a bus from Covilhã to the village of Cortes do Meio. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cortes do Meio, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach Vila Belo Horizonte (ruínas). The path may not be well-marked, so it is advisable to have a map or GPS on your phone. Follow the signs towards the ruins, and be prepared for some uneven terrain.
